How to copy and paste between devices

  1. Type or paste your text into the box and choose how long it should be kept.
  2. Click “Save to clipboard” to get a 6-digit code, a short link and a QR code.
  3. On your other device, open this website and enter the code — or simply scan the QR code.
  4. Copy the text or download it as a .txt file. It disappears automatically when it expires.

Is WebClipboard free?

Yes. WebClipboard is completely free and supported by advertising. There are no limits on how many clips you can create.

How long is my text stored?

You decide: 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day or 7 days. After that the text is permanently deleted. With “Delete after the first view” it is removed as soon as it is opened.

Is it safe to share private information?

Anyone with the 6-digit code can open a clip, so do not share passwords or bank details without protection. If you set a password, the text is encrypted in your browser and nobody — not even us — can read it without the password.

Do I need to install an app?

No. WebClipboard runs in any web browser. You can also add it to your home screen for one-tap access.

How much text can I save?

Up to 100,000 characters per clip — enough for long documents, code or lists.

I lost my code. Can I recover my text?

No. We do not keep accounts or logs that could link a clip to you, so a lost code cannot be recovered. Simply create a new clip.
