A chat window is not a good place to keep an answer. It scrolls away, it is mixed with the rest of the conversation, and it is awkward to send to someone who does not use the same assistant. A PDF keeps one answer on its own pages, looks the same on every device and is easy to attach, print or file.
AI assistants write in Markdown. This page reads that Markdown and builds a PDF with the formatting the chat showed you: headings, bold and italic text, bullet and numbered lists, tables, code blocks, block quotes and links. A preview shows what you will get before you save.
How the PDF is made
The PDF is created by your browser's own print function, so it uses the fonts on your device. That is why Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Thai, Arabic and Cyrillic answers print correctly, and why the text in the PDF stays selectable and searchable, not a flat picture. The one extra step is choosing Save as PDF in the print window. On an iPhone, choose Print, spread two fingers over the preview, then use the share button and Save to Files.

Making the result look right
Use a serif font for reports and a sans-serif font for notes and lists. Pick A4 or US Letter to match your paper, and narrow margins if the answer has wide tables. Long code lines wrap at the page edge.
If a list or table does not look right in the preview, the Markdown probably needs a blank line before it. Fix that in the box and the preview updates. If you want an editable file instead, use ChatGPT to Word; for plain text with the symbols removed, use Strip Markdown; and for any other Markdown, see Markdown to PDF.
